Trying to come back from marital problems and numerous allegations of infidelity, Tiger Woods plans to speak publicly Friday, offer an apology and discuss his future.

“While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between he and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him.He also let down his fans,” Mark Steinberg, Woods’ agent, said in a statement. “He wants to begin the process of making amends and that’s what he’s going to discuss.”

Steinberg said professional golf’s premier star would speak to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at the PGA Tour’s headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and a pool of reporters would be allowed to cover it. Woods, 34, does not intend to answer questions.

“Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future and he plans to apologize for his behavior,” Steinberg said.

Tiger Woods finally surfaced this morning, running with a trainer near his home in Florida.

During a recent acoustic set performance, Adam Lambert stopped his show to call out a cell phone user who was talking loudly and close to the stage.

Lambert was singing, then stopped and said

“Wait, wait.  Could you please stop talking on that phone?  I mean, you’re screaming into it.  Sorry, honey, but this isn’t your t.v..  This is a live show…”

Im love him for doing that…

Longtime Tonight Show With Jay Leno bandleader Kevin Eubanks is calling it quits.  When Leno returns to The Tonight Show next month, Eubanks will be there.  But he’s in talks with NBC to be released from his contract…

John Mayer is getting just killed for his comments in the new Playboy magazine.  ABC News is reporting that Jennifer Anniston is pissed, that Holly Robinson is disgusted with him AND  –  that Jessica Simpson is turning her back on him.  Wait:  he  said she was so good in bed that it was like crack cocaine.  And that’s a slam!!!???

This whole thing has been blown WAY out of proportion.

Now, this is an odd one.  AP is reporting that singer Chynna Phillips of Wilson Phillips fame has checked into rehab for “anxiety”.  That’s a new route, isn’t it?  I thought celebrities took Xanax for anxiety, became addicted to Xanax, then checked themselves into rehab to get off the Xanax. 

She skipped a step!

Kim Kardashian struts her stuff during the showing of the new new Bebe Kardashian fashion “designer “(and I use that word very loosely…)line.  Fashion?  What genius came up with this stuff?  It looks like a dress from American Apparel with a bodice she bought at the Pleasure Chest on her way to the show…

Leave it to the Kardashians.  They keep lowering the bar and the public seems happy not to have to jump any higher…

Uh-oh.  Madonna is getting back into the movies!  This lady has been seriously successful in music  –  and seriously UN-successful in the movies.  She can barely direct, and she’s one of the worst actors to ever appear on film.  When is she gonna get it?  The movies are not for her!!!
